Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)

At the Asian Center of Oncology and Hematology (ACOH), we offer Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT)—a highly precise radiation technique that delivers multiple focused beams of high-dose radiation to cancerous tissues. Also referred to as Stereotactic Ablative Radiotherapy (SABR), SBRT is especially effective for treating tumors in soft tissues such as the lungs, liver, neck, spine, and lymph nodes.

When this same advanced technique is applied to the brain, it is known as Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS).

At our Department of Radiation Oncology, our experts use advanced 3D imaging technology to guide highly targeted radiation beams, ensuring the treatment is focused exclusively on the tumor while sparing surrounding healthy tissue. This approach allows for fewer treatment sessions with enhanced precision and effectiveness—making it ideal for treating small to medium-sized tumors in critical locations.
