Tace & Vascular Embolization

Transarterial Chemoembolization (TACE) is an advanced treatment technique used to manage liver cancer by delivering chemotherapy directly into the blood vessel supplying the tumor. Along with the chemotherapy, tiny particles are injected to block the blood flow, effectively starving the tumor and enhancing the drug’s impact.

This localized approach minimizes exposure to the rest of the body, reducing systemic side effects and significantly increasing treatment success rates.

At the Asian Center of Oncology and Hematology (ACOH), our interventional oncologists perform TACE using minimally invasive, image-guided techniques. These procedures are carefully planned to ensure maximum precision, minimal discomfort, fewer complications, and faster recovery for patients.
